UPDATE - April 9th, 2024
Hello SSPCS Parents/Guardians,
Our third PA meeting of the school year was held on April 8th. The schedule for the remainder of the year will be May 14 and June 11th. Meetings are held in person at 700 and online via Zoom. Please join us @6:15PM for attendee introductions, and the official meeting to start promptly at 6:30PM.
At Monday's meeting we reviewed proposed changes to how the PA will operate (put together by the PA Taskforce) which included elected positions, the term lengths of elected officers, modified PA committees and what they'll be tasked with, etc. These proposed changes have been made to the PA's bylaws, which you can view here with track changes on:
If you aren’t aware, the PA receives $5k annually from the Educational Foundation that it allocates to faculty, parent or other community members as a PA Grant. Decisions are made via a vote of all attending members (any SSCPS parent or guardian), so in order to vote you must attend the meeting 😉 Below is a summary of the votes.
Thanks,
Alisha Uhlenbrock-Furst
Parent to 5th, 8th, and 11th Graders
