UPDATE - February 21, 2024
Hello SSPCS Parents,
We held our first PA meeting of the school year on February 12th. The schedule for the remainder of the year has been determined as follows; March 19, April 8, May 14, and June 11th. As of now the meetings will be held in person at 700 and online via Zoom (if in person attendance drops, I will no longer hold the in person portion). Please join us @6:15PM for attendee introductions, the official PA meeting will start promptly at 6:30PM.
This month we had a good turnout of 37 parents/guardians, however we need more of you if we are going to officially revive the PA with elections in May and position announcements and first planning meeting for the next school year in June.
If you aren’t aware, the PA receives $5k annually from the Educational Foundation that it allocates to faculty, parent or other community members as a PA Grant. This month we received 5 grant requests. Decisions are made via a vote of all attending members (any SSCPS parent or guardian), so in order to vote you must attend the meeting 😉 Below is a summary of the votes.
Thanks,
Alisha Uhlenbrock-Furst
