Update on 1:1 Chromebooks

Hello SSCPS Families,

As many of you know, SSCPS is going to a 1:1 Chromebook program.  It is the goal of SSCPS to loan one Chromebook per attending student.  This includes all students K through 12.

Chromebook devices have been back-ordered around the country.  We have to prioritize handing out our limited existing stock of Chromebooks.  Please go to our Chromebook Request registration page to fill out one form for each student who does not have a laptop or desktop at home.  Families can request more than one device by filling out this form per student.  

We are using FamilyID.com to manage requests.  SSCPS uses this for Athletic and Food Service programs. Once you create an account on FamilyID.com and register student(s), you can continue to select those students for future programs.  For more information about FamilyID, you can go to http://hello.familyid.com/for-families and watch this video.  

After we receive requests, we will contact you with further information regarding picking up your student's Chromebook(s).  Once we receive additional Chromebooks we will contact the rest of our families.

p.s.  If you still have a Chromebook from the spring and/or summer school, please return it to the table outside our 100 Longwater Drive location.  Many are no longer supported by vendors and need to be modified to continue to use.
